What is so offensive about it? Would not the world be a better place if everyone observed what is written as well as Jesus' words, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you?"
Our country has become increasingly immoral and violent in the last 30 years. Is it a coincidence, at least in part, that this coincides with a departure from the historic traditional Christian faith by Americans and a steady increasing hostility to this faith by the media?
This has all been spoken of in the Bible, how the people will reject the ways of God. It is my hope that He has not given us up to our sinful desires (Romans1:24).
